Met a ton of them. Stepehn Colbert was in my college acting class for example.

Coolest dude was Alice Cooper in the Franfurt Airport Business Class lounge.

Luke Bryan - incredibly nice
Chicken - he gave me a TD koozie
Justin Moore - short af but can put down some beer
Randy Travis - post stroke. Great conversation and super friendly and kind.
Randy Johnson - on a flight once when I was in 8th grade. I said hi and that’s it bc I was scared.
Alana Springsteen - up and coming country pop singer. Pretty hot and seems a little freaky No relation to The Boss.
Jim Haslett - eh
Dennis Allen - elevator at our hotel in Tampa before we blew the MNF game to Brady and the Bucs. Shoulda throat punched him but pussed out

I’ve played music with or for these people. So I “met” them but was also there to do a job, so I figured I might be able to give a different sort of answer. I’ve learned that no matter how down to earth they seem, they will always be celebrities first, and never “one of us.”

Justin Timberlake - Played a background music gig at his house. There were about 100 people there. He was the only one who listened to us and it was early in my career and it meant a lot. At the end of the night he was by himself watching TV totally over the who’s who party. Super introverted. Got his whole band brand new iPhones for Christmas.
Jessica Biel - super cool and we talked about ring pops and Hanson
Ellen - She shook hands with the band after the performance. Told her I was from New Orleans. She walked away mid sentence. Did the same thing the second time I played her show. Rumors about her are 100% true. Glad she got cancelled.
Nick Jonas - douche who has a limp handshake. Impossible to work with him in the studio. Live he’s tolerable because he doesn’t say anything to you.
Bruce Willis - don’t even consider this guy an actor anymore because he is exactly who he is in movies
Denis Leary - Gave me an $800 tip during a hotel background music gig
Ariana Grande - entitled and slutty, and doesn’t bathe a lot on tour
Lauren Daigle - we talked about Joe Burrow
Jack Black - literally the funniest person I’ve ever met and the most down to earth.
Kyle Gass - forgot my name on stage. Jack Black was the one who yelled from the audience at him to introduce me. Jack Black rules.
Kenny G - knows he’s the butt of all music jokes and has a great sense of humor about it
Rumer Willis - entitled. Watched her dad’s (Bruce Willis) movies and TV reruns every single night on the tour bus. Super weird.
Kelsea Ballerini - doesn’t have a country bone in her body
Jared Leto - prick
Conan - incredibly humble. Has a vibe that he thinks he just got lucky. Talked with the band for 15 minutes afterwards (they almost never do that) even though you could tell he was exhausted. Looked like he was about to collapse. Also he’s gigantic.

I posted in a thread that Chicken was participating in. Just like a regular ole guy, posting pretty much like I am here. Not directly to me or anything, but we posted in the same thread. Epic.

I worked at a public golf course in college. One slow weekday mid-afternoon an old black tour bus rolls in. Odd, but figured it was just turning around. About 10 minutes later a group of old hippie looking dudes come walking into the clubhouse. One of them being Willie Nelson. Apparently they had a show in town that night and wanted to get in 9 holes.

We chatted on the tee box a bit and he even offered me a hit of his “cigarette”. Fun guys

Plenty. My dad was in media and set up an interview with Ted Nugent. The easiest was to just do it at the hotel. I remember 2 things... walking in and seeing a 44 magnum just casually on his bed table had my eyes hugging out. Then him asking if I wanted a soda and when I took him up on the offer, him calling room service for it. He and my dad became friends so I got to go backstage for a lot of his concerts with Damn Yankees.

Outside of autograph shows and my teammates in college, I've mostly talked to NFL players at airports and similar settings. The novelty just isn't there when you're interacting with peers and those behind you. At shows I enjoy interacting with the guys I watched while growing up...Kareem, McMahon, Moon, etc. My sons get a kick out of meeting guys like Peyton and current players. To me, Peyton is the guy having fun after a game conducting the band in Knoxville.

ETA: Forgot about Majority Leader Trent Lott after a speech at State. Also got hammered in front of a different US Senator (fraternity alum) homecoming weekend.

Bill Clinton came to our very small college for our mock convention when he was 4 years away from running for president to give a speech. He came to the party afterwards at an old barn venue, and I met him. He was very cool. The classic politician who made you feel like saying hello to you was the most important thing he'd do that day. He danced, played the sax with the band, and left with the hottest girl in our class. She never talked, though she was hounded by reporters and political operatives for many years after.

Back in early to mid 2000’s they filmed a lot of movies up my way and met several.

Was in downtown Minden to see a customer but they had street blocked to film a scene. Had to sit on a bench on main street until they finished. While I was sitting there Willie Nelson came walking up and asked if he could sit with me while they finished shooting. He wasn’t in that particular scene. We chatted for a good 10 or 15 minutes. Super cool down to earth guy. Yes he smelled like weed.

Buddy of mine was renting a house in South Highlands at the time. Film studio had rented out the house next door for a film. One while I was over there they were filming a scene in the front porch. We sat on his front porch and were able to see and hear the whole thing. Houses were very close together. I believe they actually shared a driveway. Anyway, when they were done, Queen Latiffa came walking over and sat with us for about 20 minutes while they were setting up for next scene. She also was really cool and down to earth. My buddy had actually already met her previously and spoken with her on several occasions as they filmed.

Wa in Hilton in downtown Shreveport to meet a client in there lounge. While I was waiting on him to get there, Rob Drydek and Chanel West Coast came in and sat down. They were staying there at hotel and were in town cause MTV was shooting some kind of skateboard show in town. Rob was pretty cool. Chanel was pretty dang hot but dumb as a sack of rocks.

Stopped in a local Starbucks one morning and Mike Rowe from Dirty Jibs was in there having a cup with one of the show producers. We were the only three in there at the time. Spoke for a few minutes. Just a dude. Could have hung out with him just as easily as any of my other buddies.Talked hunting and fishing mainly.

Jessica Simpson almost ran over my 6 y/o son as we were leaving Mall St Vincent. Not sure if that counts as meeting her cause after I snatched my son out of the way, she just sped off real fast.

When I was a kid, my grandfather was the ringside announcer for MidSouth wrestling and also worked for KTBS Channel 3. I got to meet all the wrestlers back then. You name them and I met them. Hogan, Randy Savage, Junk Yard Dog, Roddy Piper, Ice Man King Parsons, Rick Flair, and my absolute favorite Andre the Freaking Giant. Talk about a nice guy. And to little 7 y/o me he seemed 20 feet tall.
