It absolutely was.
It’s nearly impossible to discuss this with you and Ron because you’ll all have a fundamental misunderstanding of what went on.
You were conflating normal spending bills with outsized stimulus bills.
Trump’s trillion dollar normal spending bills did not kick off inflation.
The massive Covid PPP loan bill did contribute to it, which never would have been proposed had there been no Covid.
So if you take out that outlier, no Trump did not kick off inflation. Covid kicked off inflation.

Read it again. He claimed I am blaming ALL the inflation on Trump
That's laughable and only someone as thin skinned as Trump would make that absurd claim. I have blamed both Biden and Trump in every single thread. Every last one. The Trumpers are only trying to blame Biden. Wonder why? They are both culpable for the situation we are in and neither of those buffoons will be able to fix it.

Remind us the vote count in Washington for the Covid spending bill.

Where did inflation come from? Can you at least answer that straight?

His "normal" spending bills were as large as Bidens, before covid.

Remind us of all of Trump's spending before covid even existed. Remind us of Trump saying he won't sign anymore spending bills until he did. When it comes to spending there is very little to no difference between Biden and Trump. They both love stimulus. Trump was president for all of 2020. His presidency didn't end in 2019 like you folks try and make it out. Trump & Biden are responsible for the inflation. The idea that Trump spending Trillions is ok but Biden spending Trillions is absurd.

I'll remind you of whom wanted more money than the Democrats were willing to spend.

Trump says he wants a bigger stimulus package than the $2.2 trillion amount that Democrats are seeking
That excuse is a no go.

They know this but can't admit/acknowledge it because it kills their arguiment. Get ready for more replies about 'covid' when Trump was spending at an accelerated rate well before covid existed.

They blame congress for Trumps spending, they blame Obama and Biden for theirs.
These people are retards. I am not convinced they have the capacity to understand.

I think it’s fair to say that not many people know what y’all know. And I don’t mean that in a complimentary way.

I would be embarrassed too, if I were you. You appreciate the inflation, I dont.

Patently FALSE.
Note the graph direct from treasury.
Trumps 16, 17 18 and 19 spending was NORMAL incremental increases... 4.75, 4.90, 4.95, 4.99, 5.31... then COVID disaster spending and save the country spending.... 7.72T in 2020.
Once that was OVER, it should have come back down... but Biden has kept it over 6.2T every year since...

So there it is, in plain black and white... Trump through 3.5 years of his presidency did NOT spend crazy amounts just to spend it.
It's irrefutable. Covid spending was Trumps reason (needed) that he "spent" all this extra money. Not like Biden with shitty economic policy.

Economists agree that we needed massive deficit spending during the COVID-19 crisis to ward off an economic cataclysm, but federal finances under Trump had become dire even before the pandemic. That happened even though the economy was booming and unemployment was at historically low levels. By the Trump administration’s own description, the pre-pandemic national debt level was already a “crisis” and a “grave threat.”
This is irrefutable.
If you put more money into the system when we are at full employment it will eventually cause inflation.
Thats not opinion.

Lol post a debt graph, not a spending graph...
...and inadvertently make my point.
Trumps's spending, and the resultant increase in debt because our government ALWAYS spends more than it takes in, is the EXACT SAME TRAJECTORY from your 2009 beginning....
... until, Covid! Lol it says it right there in your graph.

Biden lies. News at 11.
..and his people will believe every single word that comes out of his mouth.

Theyre related.
quote:
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump proposed a record $4.7 trillion budget on Monday, pushing the federal deficit past $1 trillion but counting on optimistic growth, accounting shuffles and steep domestic cuts to bring future spending into balance in 15 years.
quote:
The budget calls the approach “MAGAnomics,” after the president’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan.
Some fiscal watchdogs, though, panned the effort as more piling on of debt by Trump with no course correction in sight.
Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, said Trump “relies on far too many accounting gimmicks and fantasy assumptions and puts forward far too few actual solutions.

This is because Obama was already spending at elevated levels. Trump just continued Obama's level of spending which is not good enough. We are supposed to be the fiscally responsible party.

Of course... but not at all in the way you are arguing that Trump increased spending because he likes to and thus OMB.
Anyway, appreciate the opportunity to make my points, but you just don't have the capacity to read the data properly so we'll go nowhere with further discussion.

He absolutely did.
The "Trump economy" was a continuation of Obamas, with extra taxes (tariffs)
