All I know is if you’re hot and you put it on 60 it will cool down quicker than if you put it on 68. Facts are facts.

After a couple years I cracked and allowed my wife to put the nest app on her phone and it’s the worst decision I’ve ever made in my entire life.

Mine has mastered the art of running the AC upstairs and the heat downstairs while windows are open all at the same time

Knew a guy who relocated and rewired the thermostat to a closet, or some other obscure location, then put up a fake thermostat in the place of the original one.

My wife has a cellphone app, through which she is seemingly always tinkering with the settings. I just adjust layers of clothing accordingly. I'm a defeated man regarding temp control in the house.
