How in the hell do you change television provider during the season?

What asinine business decision could approve that! I don’t understand. I get the NBA ticket/ network with season tickets. I always purchase the television provider that broadcasts Bally Sports, and some goofball decides to throw the fanbase a curveball. It’s ridiculous, and this must not happen again. Please don’t tell me about rabbit ears in the attic. I’m not doing it.

Stop complaining moron. This is 1000xs better than Ballys.

Except I don't have an antenna.
If you want fox to air it cool then put it on fricking fox not some station you need 1960's technology to use

It’s overall frustrating but antennas are cheap and easy to install.

What’s frustrating is we PAID for Ballys! If you’re going to air it over broadcast that’s fine but don’t remove out from Ballys as well. Complete bs

Didn’t realize a $30 flat plastic panel that fits in any window was so difficult to install.

Right. I get adding to Bounce to bounce out whatever but it should have been a simulcast (similar to Saints MNF games picked up by a local station) and also available through the means that people are paying for. Reducing service is ridiculous.

You got hosed . Ballys went bankrupt.
Bankrupt Ballys

It was for a few games. A lot of people like me who also paid for Ballys had to just suck it up and watch it on Crackstreams or similar. The team had to power through adversity tonight, so you should be willing to do the same.

Agree. The Pelicans probably got better production trucks too.

Annoying to me is not getting the replay that I pay for thru Ballys. I usually watch the replay of the parts of games I’m interested in. Live I can get on one of the “free” streams.
Another hiccup is people have written here signal is too weak to get over antenna in Gonzales. I haven’t tried an antenna, but that would not help me with replay.

It's not except my television is completely encased. It has to be maneuvered and the power and all are seet in the wall behind it
I'm not running 30 foot of coax to a window across my living room.
I have an antenna from one the hurricanes it is storage tote I'm my garage. My televisions are all wifi Bluetooth.
I'm pissed that I pay for ballys and I can't watch the game.
Grey media can go frick off for being second rate. If this was to help the local fan base be able to watch the game they would just put it on fox 8. The uFL would have been better suited for fox hd2

I get that. That is stupid that it’s still not on Ballys.
But I’d rather it permanently be on Bounce than Ballys.

Perhaps I’m watching the wrong Bounce cuz both Bounce and Bally’s look equally bad. If people are watching the same thing I’m watching and think one is better than the other they are simply blinded by politics.

In Lafayette, it is not broadcast in HD and the audio is terrible. My 10 year old son asked me tonight “dad, this must be like what it was was like to watch Michael Jordan.” I said what do you mean son, “the picture is funny and you can’t hear the announcers just like the you tube videos from the 90’s.”

HD Antenna is a solid add in any event in case your internet goes down. I cut cable years ago and have been streaming ever since, most recently through YouTubeTV. I also pay for Bally's which has sucked from the start. Antenna TV has a surprising number of channels these days and since my Cox high speed internet goes down about 5 times a month, I've found using the over air antenna to be a useful back up.
The biggest issue with showing games on Bounce is that unless you have a stand alone DVR, which I haven't for years, you can't record the games for replay or rewatch later. That is a pain. If the games were on Fox 8, which is carried by YouTubeTV, they'd automatically be recorded and archived. I like the idea of the games being broadcast over air, but these issues need to be worked out. I think there is one more Friday against Golden State, but not sure which channel it's scheduled on...

My biggest issue with the antenna games is that the games are in 480... It looks like absolute shite

According to Forbes, as of 4/8/24 Mrs. Benson has a net worth of 6.1 billion. We have our best team in a decade and fans are forced to go buy an antenna to be able to watch the games?
It's pathetic, I wish she would do what the Suns owner did and make a deal with a local provider so the whole state can watch the games.

I'd bet you $6.1 billion that Gayle has no idea that the games aren't easily viewable
