The o-line.....

Posted by Taylor31 on 11/23/25 at 7:49 pm
Insider tells me that the Saints o-line is soft. Disappointed in 75 which hurts real bad. The Saints need to clean house, and fix the o-line first with the draft. Two to three more years before we smell a playoff game.
I believe I posted three years ago, that I wish LSU would not pay any player a dime. If they did that LSU would be the nations favorite team. I don't give a S--- if we would lose five games a year. Anything is better than this s--- show. Or, I could compromise. Every player no matter how far down the bench you are makes the same money. Lace's up and play the game.
The most accomplished professional player from LSU is Mr. Bob Petit. Bob Petit was the most dominate player in the NBA for many years. He played just before Chamberlain came into the league. I take that back, their careers overlapped by two or three years. Check his stats and I believe you will agree. Shaq is a very close second.

The most decorated at LSU is first team ALL American, and first team academic Nacho Albergamo.

Make the change. Time for #6 to see if he can move the chains.

At half the network showed Nuss

being hit and tackled several times. If you watched closely Nuss has his ankle twisted outward on a sack. He was lucky that he didn't break his ankle, or dislocated. He played hurt, and gutted it out. Just for your information.
At half they showed Nuss getting sacked, and if you watched closely his ankle was bent outward. He was lucky it wasn't broken. He's hurt guys. He played on a badly sprained ankle.

Nuss did not play well, BUT

The receivers were not open most of the time, and double covered because of only three down lineman. When you can't run the ball, and you're getting pressure using three lineman, you're in for a long day.
Play him at running back. He's the best RB on the team.

Hudson to Fuller . That was a game that LSU had no business winning. The Tigers were outmanned at fifteen positions, but won with the biggest heart.

Not one word from the Front office.

How is Trey, and Herb? Will they be ready for the opener?
You guys have convinced me that Herb was not healthy from the opening game. I did not remember, so I would not trade Herb for Kuminga and a #1. Last years was such a damn mess that I forgot how Herb glides threw the air like Nureyev. He's a special player. Needs to get that stroke back.
Pelican fans everywhere understand the importance of the player and person Herb has been since day one. What I have not read in this post was the off year Herb had last season. Of course I'm not considering his play after his shoulder injury, only before. I don't have time to look up his stats, but from what I remember, he couldn't throw it in the ocean. His three point shot was way off last year. Maybe his shoulder was hurting from the very first game, but regardless, his shot was off. Correct me if I am wrong. I'm for the trade, but only if the Warriors add a first round pick, and that high flyer Kuminga.
Archie Manning wasn't a patch on Bert Jones arse in the NFL. If the Saints had drafted Jones, they could have traded Manning for probably three #1's.
The trade last night needs to play out until this time next year. Hopefully Queen makes all of our fans forget all the negative attacks on this organization. But, the worst trades in our city history starts with Jazz GM Barry Mendelson trading our number one to the Lakers for Gail Goodrich. That #1 was Magic Johnson.

In second place the Saints traded their #1 the first pick in the 1967 draft to Baltimore for Gary Cuozzo That pick for Baltimore was Big BUBBA SMITH

In third place the Saints traded the #2 pick in the first round to the Colts for Billy Newsome, a #4, and a backup linebacker. That #2 pick was Bert Jones. Do I have to say anymore?

In fourth place the Saints traded the fourth pick in the first round for Jim Taylor in the 1968 draft. That player was Phil Vandersea.

In fifth place is the entire Saints draft for Ricky Williams.

In sixth place the New Orleans Buccaneers traded Doug Moe, and Larry Brown for Steve Jones, Barry Leibewitz, and Ron Franz.

In seventh place and this one made me sick the moment I heard it. Dyson Daniels for Murray. Murray was shipped out by Pop in San Antonio. Gladly shipped out by the Hawks. Dyson Daniels was an absolute dog at 19 years old. He can guard one through five his ROOKIE YEAR. Daniels is a stud defender that was improving each year on the offensive side of the ball. An absolute pathetic trade by Griffin. This trade by itself warrants dismissal of Griffin.

I'm tired of losing. I've been patient, I pay for my tickets, but this year the Pels must improve with wins in the 40's.

Stupid idiots !!

Unbelievable!!

Umpire interference on the pickoff causes LSU a run. Then, some complete idiot at a desk on a ball four reverses a call on a HBP. The team that benefits leads the nation with 181 HBP.
