For both basketball and football, the anthem is played while the respective teams are in the locker room. There are field and court priorities that have set this precedent. The Iowa game was an anomaly and we have already uncovered the fact that it was not intentional. It was 100% unintentional. Exactly why are you doing this?

It's pretty obvious. He wants visibility among Republican primary voters and it got him that. He probably didn't anticipate the backlash but if it makes him a presidential contender, it's a net plus for him.
