What ever happened to right to protest? We just ignoring the First Amendment now?

No, dipshit. This has nothing to do with the first amendment, which does NOT guarantee the right to not be criticized for free speech.

ask Chris Jackson if nobody cared.
he got blackballed for it.

and he tried to do it discreetly without drawing any attention to himself.

I don’t think any football team is on the field for the anthem.

they just play it before they run out.

I prefer to hit the concessions and bathroom during the anthem to avoid long lines later. Does that make me unpatriotic?

Exactly. How about a show of hands y’all. How many of you have been having fun tailgating and take a look at your phone or watch and say “holy cow the game is about to start. We gotta go.

And be honest…how many of you looked at your watch and said. Sorry y'all. “I gotta go. They are about to play the national anthem!!!”

Landry’s done a fantastic job making that “liberal POS” look like a saint since his inauguration.

Old right wing guard is just as batshit crazy as the left

Lester the PT board hates me, so you are barking up the wrong tree. However, being a liberal like yourself today makes me question your sanity as well

Sadly, both parties are led by extremists.

He's currently getting ratio'd on twitter with his last one.

My mother coached women’s high school basketball during the height of desegregation, no one has a greater respect for the sport and for Coach Mulkey. However, above respect for that game is a deeper respect for those that serve to protect us and unite us under one flag !

It is time that all college boards, including Regent, put a policy in place that student athletes be present for the national anthem or risk their athletic scholarship! This is a matter of respect that all collegiate coaches should instill.

These right wing loonies are just as bad as the woke brigade. MUH STAND FOR THE ANTHEM!

Dumb azz USL supporting governor! Obviously he has never been to an LSU sporting event.

I have been going to all LSU home football games for fifty years. LSU has always came out after the National Anthem. So those teams in the 60’s and 70’s were protesting the National Anthem?!?!?! Most of the SEC teams have pretty much the same policy. So where is the problem Governor?

This is what happens when you don’t do your research and listen to your buddies from ULL.

So GFY!

Sorry, it was a no class move. If you want respect you have to give it. On this issue, they deserve all the heat they are getting

Far More Important things Politicians should worry about in Louisiana instead of a women’s basketball team.

They’re being singled out when it happens everywhere. The football team is never on the sideline for the anthem and no one cares.

And in case you missed it, some state Senator from Houma is trying to give the governor the power to appoint the chair of all higher education boards. That gives him more power to appoint some campaign donor to b3 the chair of the LSU board.
In a classic politician move, the senator from Houma proposed the bill but it as suggested by an outside group but he doesn’t remember who.
