Whether you should switch is something only you can answer. I would advise that if you are unhappy at work you should change something. Forty hours per week is too much time to be unhappy.

I’ve never worked a full time job I have enjoyed or had the least amount of passion for. Is it normal to actually like your job and not just the lifestyle it affords you?

I've never worked a job that I would have done for free. But with one short exception I've always been happy at work. I'm happy when I cut my grass. That doesn't mean I'd do it for fun. But I would never tolerate a job that made me unhappy.
A long time ago I co-founded a company. Ever since then it's been different because aside from the salary, I knew I was building something, and I had a passion for that.

There is a point that people reach where it isn’t what keeps them at their job or being more productive.
Once an employee passes a certain income level (around the year 2020 the number tossed around was 80k) more money isn’t the best motivator. I’d imagine that number is well above 100k now.

Whether you broke or rich, you gotta get this
Havin' money's not everythin', not havin' it is

It depends.
If you can make all of your obligations, then you’re fine. Money is needed to a point. The ideal is when you find a job that treats you well and pays you well.
My opinion is that sometimes people just need a change. You can find yourself in a rut, and changing things up can reinvigorate you. But beware, everything new becomes old eventually.

Money solves money problems. The rest is up to you.

Not having money blows, but there's a tipping point of money to happiness. I'm currently hitting that point.

As a general rule, the more fun something is to do the less it pays. If it's too much fun, you have to pay them.

My wife and I are currently working jobs that infringe on a good deal of our evenings and weekends. It's difficult to make time for interests and keeps us pretty exhausted. Because of this, the extra money is meaningless and has made us salty enough to begin considering lesser alternatives. What's the point of working more hours, taking on more responsibilities and stress, and making more money if you can't enjoy it?

Do what you are passionate about and enjoy your work. The money will come.

I've been poor and I've been rich.
Rich is better...

Having a new vehicle and a nice house is better than a beater and a shitty apartment

Here’s a few things that I would likely invest in if I made significantly more money:
More regular therapy
Personal training with a nutritionist
Eating better quality ingredients rather than just stretching cheap ingredients as far as I can
All bills on autopay
Lawn service/home cleaning
More nights out outside of my home as well as real vacations
A lot more wellness doctor visits rather than waiting until issues get too bad to ignore
None of these things will make me “happy”, but they will make so many things simpler. Getting healthier by investing in more knowledgeable training rather than just winging everything myself will likely result in me getting in significantly better shape. Coming home to an empty dirty house full of chores after work is a frequent swift kick in the metaphorical nuts. Regular therapy was super helpful when I was doing it before I had to cut it out due to financial issues. All three of those things are likely to result in a significantly better physical and mental state while eliminating many of my biggest routine stressors.
However, if achieving that level of financial status comes at the cost of all of the free time required to indulge in these activities, then what is the point?

I'd give up every cent if it guaranteed health and happiness for my wife and children for their entire lives. I'd live as a homeless man if a genie could guarantee me that. My family is the only thing that truly matters to me.

If the new job still allows you to be financially stable (pay bills on time, save, retirement and enjoy activities outside of work) then it's a no brainer, take the job you love.
I'm in a similar situation. If you told me you'd give me a 50% pay increase to leave where I'm at now, but the new job would be stressful, I'd turn it down in a heartbeat.
I've learned that my mental health and peace of mind away from work are more valuable than I gave it credit for.

Money isn't the key to happiness but it can certainly make things easier in life when you have it.
