Anyone have a recipe?
Looked online to no avail.
Anyone in the same situation and make their own seasoning mix for a boil?
Congestive heart failure is a bitch.

I’d rather just die of heart failure. Just double up on the hydrochlorathyazide that night.

Couldn’t you just use the liquid and not add salt?

Just use the bags, if you need it in powder form just grind what’s in the bags

Tough spot to be in. I’ve had to limit sodium intake before and I found that sometimes it was better to practice moderation instead of completely removing salt from a dish. So maybe you just eat less. It’s tough, I know. I’m not sure if that’s a reasonable option for you, but just a thought. Good luck and let us know if you experiment with recipes.

Looks like you need to focus on other areas of your nutrition habits than the amount of sodium in your crawfish.

Are you allowed to eat potassium chloride? It contains no sodium, and tastes almost identical to salt.

Nu-Salt

That would taste absolutely terrible.

Your best bet is to buy some crawfish tails, cook them like bbq shrimp substituting a salt free Cajun seasoning and finish it off with something with a lot of acidity like vinegar or lemon juice. It will be good once the acidity is dialed in.

Chackbay seasoning? Everyone says you need to add salt with it...
