Anniversary dinner in BR

Any suggestions on a restaurant in BR for a 20 year anniversary dinner? We don't eat at the "nice" restaurants in BR too often so we are pretty open.
Not sure of our mover and shaker status. Just want to put that out there.

I like Ruffino's. Depends on what you're into. Most popular F&D recs include Little Village, Maison Lacour, to name a few.

Does Nino's still do the chef's table? It's been years since I lived in BR but that was a cool experience when I did it.

If you want "nice", try Mansurs or French Market Bristro.

Piggybacking off of OP. Does anywhere in BR do a tasting menu type dinner?
I know Umami offers omakase, unfortunately the wife doesn't eat sushi.

This topic seriously needs a stickied thread. It gets asked on a regular basis.

Can’t go wrong with will Sullivan. I’ll be playing music Saturday night there. Please stop by and introduce yourself

Not exactly tasting menu, but you can order a bunch of different small plates at Solera. Everything we've had has been excellent.

Neither of these are in Baton Rouge but in the area
1796 in st francisville does a seasonal tasting menu and wine pairing. I went in October and it was fantastic.
Houmas House has a tasting menu at one of the 2 restaurants. I Haven’t been but know they do it.

Maison LaCour would be an excellent choice.

Nonos is solid but my wife loves little village. I can’t recall the name of the place at houmas house but their tasting menu was solid the last time we went. I think Le’ tilles or something like that. Butternut squask bisque was really really good
