It’s accurate for a lot of women. Both spouses have to work full time because they don’t want to settle for less, they have kids and the husband thinks the wife should do everything his mommy did when he was growing up. Even though the situation is completely different for his wife.
So the wife works full time and has the bulk of the duties managing the household and kids.
Happens more often than many think.

I think this is overstating it, I'm seeing more and more households where the men are handling more of the inside chores while also doing more and more of the outside chores.
We live in this weird world now where people just ignore lawn care, weeding, house DIY projects, and all of that other shite and focus only on the chores that are traditional female. It's asinine.

No it isn't. The vast majority of men I know have to cook and do handyman stuff in addition to being required to being the breadwinner and work longer hours.
Doing more with the kids and the house was a way women could contribute 50% because their husbands worked 60 hours a week and brought home 80% of the dough.
Majority of women these days don't want to work as hard as the husband. Refuse to quit their "lazy girl" jobs like HR, Realty, or secretary while also refusing to contribute in the house.

You're getting overwhelming down voted but that's more of a reflection of the makeup of TD than anything. You're right though, and unfortunately the women submit to it often times for various reasons.

That completely opposite with our household…
My wife and I both work in the medical field, she’s management and I’m pt care. She works 5 days a week and I do 3 12 hour shifts a week. Me being off more, I do the laundry and cook. My mother did all of that when I was a kid with a stay at home mom.
Your theory is shite…
