Manchester Orchestra just released a live version of Cope 10 days ago and it's very good.

My fav live album. The expanded 40th anniversary edition includes the songs they excluded on the original album.
I also enjoy:
Stones 'Brussels Affair 73'
Chicago At Carnegie Hall
Kiss Alive!
Rick Nelson Live at the Troubadour
and yes, even Barry Manilow Live

I enjoy listening to live stuff. It’s interesting to hear how bands play the stuff live.
Was listening to Rush Grace Under Pressure Tour and they were playing the songs at a blistering fast pace.
Hell, those songs are hard at regular tempo. Crazy.

Depends on the recording quality. I enjoy live performances, but very few are well recorded.

I love early live albums from the 60's & 70's. Today bands mostly play their albums note for note on stage. What I do enjoy is the amount of old live recordings being released that are being discovered on old tapes. But my favorite live album was a 1971 performance by the Pink Fairies called 'Finland Freakout' which was actually just released a few years ago. That performance was probably the closest I have ever heard to what open air festivals sounded like back in those days! Loud and raw, yet the peaceful vibes of the times are quite evident...

Fear? Really.. That's like saying you saw the CRO-MAGS, or the WOW and the Plasmatics. I saw the Ramones late.. But Frank Black was the opening act. and THAT was 30 years ago.

Having played guitar out live for 3 decades, I really prefer a WELL RECORDED live album. I've heard some that are recorded fantastically, and some that should have been great, that sound like trash - not because the band was playing bad, just poorly recorded and mastered.
