I have 3 guys wanting to come to their first LSU game from Kansas that we've met through deer hunting that have gotten into LSU footbal. They are looking forward to visiting TS for the first time. I've narrowed it down to Ole Miss, Bama, and OU. We have tickets and motorhome pass already so tickets and room aren't a problem. If you're inviting a first timer which one would you choose?

I think seeing OU in tiger stadium for first time is money. All 3 are big.

I understand that ole miss should be good this year, but the biggest game of the year is Alabama. I’ve seen some hot days in the early part of October. Also, you can pretty much guarantee the Bama game will be at night.

Ole miss will be undefeated coming in.

Ole Miss game will likely be an Undefeated/Top 10 match-up if we don't blow another Week 1 game.

If you are trying to show them Tiger Stadium at night at its very best, and you have to choose now, Bama is the best bet.
There may be scenarios that transpire to make Ole Miss or Oklahoma a bigger game but we won't know those until the season is under way, but I think especially this season that the Bama game will be the biggest of the season.

Ordinarily I would put Alabama first, but this year I would say
Ole Miss
Alabama
Oklahoma
In that order.

OU is thanksgiving weekend. I understand it will be a big match up, but the stadium will still be 85% full, max. Students will go home, people will visit families out of town. I dont expect that to be a good representation of a big home game.

Either Ole Mrs or Bama will be good.
Oklahoma will have a thin crowd because of the holiday and late November games can be cold as hell.

It's going to be interesting to see how the new TV contract works out. It's not just the best SEC game of the week gets the #1 slot anymore. Have to compete with the rest of the ESPN portfolio.

I’d say Bama. The first time without Nicky on the sideline.
Then Ole Miss.
I’d say OU since it will be their first time but Thanksgiving weekend, stadium could be less than full.

I can only make one home game a year because of distance. It's Bama for me.

It’s tempting to say Bama and in most years that would be the best answer.
This year, Ole Miss might be the best game.
Both teams should be unbeaten and this will be the best shot maybe ever for Ole Miss to make Atlanta (at least since 2003).
The winner of this game may very well be in the SECCG.
I’d probably take that one this year. Bama will take a step back this year.
