You can't out work a bad diet or unhealthy habits. Doesn't matter how many hours you spend in the gym. Diet/lifestyle is 85% of it.

Look how many fast food threads are started on here a week. I'd say the obsessed are the fatties not the other way around.

And they’re pathetic. Perfect sign of a human being that has zero self control.

What gives with these peeps? Know anyone like this? Thyroid issue? Genetics?

I have been training at this new gym I joined for about 3 years now so it isn't exactly new anymore but new considering I was at my old one since probably 2004. Anyway, I have pretty well gotten to know most of the regulars since I am a 5AM lifter so the ones that come in at that hour are kinda dedicated which only solidifies your point. There are probably 10 or so people that lift, train, and do cardio and for the love of God, they are still fat asses. It is pretty well about 8 men and 2 women. A few have trainers which makes it so much worse. I honestly want to say, look in the damn mirror and readjust what you are doing because it isn't working. It has to be shite diet when they go home.

Well sugar is vegan. And plenty of calories in seed/vegetable oil.

A lot of people think that because they were good all day, will pig out at dinner/dessert.

Honestly it’s probably due to alcohol consumption and eating lots of bread and carbs and shite, and/or eating out a lot.

In no way are these 'healthy'

They're not ~healthy~, but they're low calorie and if this person was really skipping breakfast, not snacking, eating Lean Cuisine for lunch, and eating a Lean Cuisine for dinner.. he'd be emaciated. Unhealthy, but skinny as a rail considering very few of them exceed 400cal.

The real answer is they're consuming a ton of calories at home.

I work with a lady that will eat a 500 calorie microwave dinner for lunch and that's all I ever see. But you don't see bullshite they eat at home, what they are drinking, and snacking on. She's not in good health. When you track calories, you'd be shocked to see how quick fast food with a coke would add up into a normal diet.

I eat eggs, almonds, stay away from carbs, eat meat and vegetables for my meal prep and typically pretty sensible dinner. Drink water 95% of the time, every now and again I'll have some tea. Drink maybe a 12 pack a month and I'm overweight. A1C is about 6.0-6.2

My sister in law is pushing 400 on the hoof, doesn't eat any vegetables, takes out fried cheese sticks like they going out of style. She also walks around with 2 Stanley's, 1 full of coke and 1 full of loaded tea, her A1C is 4.1.

This.

All of the GMO wheat and corn in our booze and mixers, as well as our food.
When I was a kid, alcoholics were skinny. Except the drunk on Andy Griffith.
When I was in Italy a couple of weeks ago, our tour guide said Italy won't buy any "food" from the USA.
