I’ll use the McMahon simps favorite excuse. Wade just needs better talent to compete with the big boys. His coaching and scheme is obviously exceptional, just can’t compete.

Are we going to ignore that Wade’s gameplan allowed them to get hot from 3? He played right into Few’s hands and their first 5 looks from deep were wide arse open. LSU had the same thing happen to them multiple times under Wade. Sometimes the plan to sell out and stop everything at the rim works, a lot of times it doesn’t.

They are a good team for what they are. A small school with limited talent. They are playing against big time schools now with big-time coaches. Wade has taken this team about as far as it can go considering. Excellent job by him in his first year.

Those same teams have kicked the crap out of McNeese for the last 20 years. Will Wade arrives and in one season completely obliterates the conference.
Next year Wade will be able to draw a better pool of talent from the transfer portal and then be more competitive when they get back to the NCAAT.

I'm far from a WW hater. I just don't understand the WW nut huggers acting like he's the best coach out there. If they lose tonight his post season record is 3-6. How is that considered elite in any way?

Agreed. Criticizing Wade for taking frickin McNeese to the NCAAT in year 1 but saying McMahon needs more time to rebuild LSU is inconsistent. There's no need to shite on either one, I want them both to succeed.
