That guy rode a long established program which was built before he arrived. It was the dominant program in that conference.

On a more serious note no shite. I’ve made topics discussing this very fact before. Tell me something I don’t know.

Sorry, I will gladly admit I didn't keep up with this thread.

That said, I was educated in Mississippi and Louisiana, so by default, I'm an idiot.

Wade’s always won on recruiting. When evenly or out-matched he’s always fallen short His Year 1 to 2 jump at LSU was great (8 to 15 SEC wins), but it’s not a fluke how that conference total went down every subsequent year (back down to .500 his final Year 5). A good coach has laid the foundation and is really cooking by then, not going backwards Conference got better and he got figured out. Not rocket science

You fricking clowns keep saying he regressed when he lost his fricking starting point guard for essentially 8 games when they went 2-6.

They were ranked as high as 12 and still had a 6 seed in the tournament, which was better than the previous year.

The 2022-2023 team was going to be his best yet

I know another guy who lost his starting PG
And his backup SG
And likely his best frontcourt player
Do I need to go on?

Agreed. Criticizing Wade for taking frickin McNeese to the NCAAT in year 1 but saying McMahon needs more time to rebuild LSU is inconsistent

Agreed... but it's also inconsistent to shite on McMahon by saying "this is the easiest era to rebuild in college athletics" and then suck Wade's cock off acting like he did an act of god by rebuilding McNeese in the same time frame. He is a P6 coach with P6 talent in a low major.

We all know Wade is the better coach. I just think the dickeating goes way too far.
