No, but it would have been nice if he had the balls to care of the problem directly, instead of teeing it up for someone else to do.

That's what I was referencing. What do you think he could do?

He should have removed her from the case for making a mockery of his court.

I know that you know better than that

I'm sure you know that this judge has some extra judicial powers as it relates to truthful testimony by an officer of the court

In fact the proper procedure would be to call in both of them with everyone else present, put them under oath and question them about the cell phone data points

Ask Wade as an officer of the court he was at the residence of Willis at the time identified.

I don't think even he is stupid enough to deny it

Then put Willis back on and ask her to confirm

This judge wanted no part of his duties for the testimony that went on in his court

Were those even in evidence? I thought that motion was filed just prior to the final day.

I don't see how they would have been in evidence considering I don't think anyone testified about them, to even authenticate it.

He can immediately refer her to the state Bar for lying under oath.

There isn't much a judge can do while remaining impartial.

It becomes a credibility issue for the judge.

Any criminal or ethical investigation is for another body in another proceeding.

The right thing to do would’ve been for him to disqualify them immediately

He should have recused. He used to work for Fani.

It just has the appearance of giving her an out. And she took it. Nothing in the Trump case was improved by his ruling, for either side. All he did was kick the can down the road, and protect Fanis job.

For now

Let me get this straight-

Trump and the other defendant's lawyers made a motion to the court.

The judge grants the motion.

MAGA still mad and judge is cuck.

Am I following along so far?

It would have turned out worse for the Trump team. He was probably as good as they were going to get.

In Fulton County, Trump was extremely lucky to get this judge. It could have been like the psycho judge in NYC and none of this Fani stuff ever sees the light of day.

There is no way. Shes still on the case, despite being nailed for obvious lies. He only went to the extenet he did because of the increased attention from the legislature

The only difference with a 'worse judge' is that Wade would still be getting paid. That doesnt hurt Trump. It just increases his chance of winning on appeal, or access to the Supremes

Didn't Trump lie under oath when he said he had $400 million in case? That's different though, right? The case isn't going away, so buckle up buttercups.
