I didn’t say that. I am pleased it’s going to an appellate judge

I am just criticizing him kicking the can down the road and not having the courage to do it himself

could have been like the psycho judge in NYC and none of this Fani stuff ever sees the light of day.
if the dude could have kept his dick in his pants, none of this would have seen the light of the day either. His ex-wifes lawyer blew him up

Like I said, he's very lucky to have this judge in Fulton. A liberal judge could have starting slapping gag orders around and pretended none of it was relevant. Trump is lucky to have drawn McAfee in Fulton. Is McAfee MAGA? Maybe, maybe not. But he's the absolute best you'll get in that venue... a white male republican. Trust me, in Fulton, Trump could have drawn much worse.

Do we know whether the appellate court must review the matter or, instead, has the discretion to accept or reject review?

He’s the most conservative judge in the Fulton judiciary by a lot

Didn't Trump lie under oath when he said he had $400 million in case?

I know thinking isnt easy for you libtards, but Trump has that. Thats why they made his penalty higher than the amount he had. $54M higher, in fact

I can’t believe I’m about to say this. But . . . I don’t necessarily think he made the wrong decision.

The only thing that could have created the conflict affecting the actual case is Fani fricking her boyfriend; and that only created an appearance of impropriety. There’s no evidence that it prejudiced the accused (although I would say that the church speech was the closest Team Trump got).

Probably more appropriate to have her dealt with by state ethics or even criminal prosecution by the Ga Atty General , which I think is basically what he suggested. For all we know, he’s reported her to the Ga Bar, which is what a judge is otherwise ordered to do.

The immediate appeal pushes back the trial date, also good.

Further in listening to the arguments, whether the appearance of impropriety was enough was an unsettled question, that an appeal court should be addressing instead.

If you’re Fani or any of her roving band of sycophants, especially that gay dude that handled the hearing, you still don’t want to try a case to him. To say the least, they have poisoned the tribunal.

Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, I feel better, and I’m ready to accept my downvotes.
