Allowing defendants to appeal immediately

Having Fani and Atlanta DA office removed will be decided outside of his authority.

The right thing to do would’ve been for him to disqualify them immediately, but he sees political implications in this, and was ready to wash his hands.

Will be interesting to see what Fannie does at this point

It’s very likely that an appellate judge is going to remove her regardless and also she is staring down the state legislator that is going to be coming for her as well

She has no more air cover now that McAfee has removed himself so again will be interesting to see what she does

It’s funny some thought the judge was a good guy. He’s a clown even bigger one for allowing the circus.

Wade and Willis lied under oath, they should not only be off the case they should be facing charge for lying under oath.

Do you think the judge just jumps over the bench and arrests them himself, like Judge Dredd?

They very well maybe indicted.

The GA legislature will subpeona her and make her testify under oath. I think she pleads the 5th at that point and that is the end of this whole bullshite case. Once she fails to testify due to fears of incriminating herself, that would be the only leverage the legislature needs to remove her from the case, and possibly from office.

No way she is going to perjure herself further as she will have an attorney there representing her

No.

I think when you stand and take an oath to tell the truth before testifying and it's later shown that you lied under oath that wheels of justice should proceed and the person who perjured themselves should face the legal consequences for lying under oath.

I imagine that investigation is already underway.

Someone already filed a bar complaint against her.

I think we could also tack on malicious prosecution charges as well...

Simple question:

Do you think lying under oath is a criminal offense?
