I know they got bought out awhile ago but they have some pretty good frames. Would you spend $150 for a pair?

Do they still have lifetime warranty?

Mine are 20+ years old. Have sent them in 4 times and only paid postage

Im not spending $150 on sunglasses unless they are ANSI, prescription, and I can add all the bells and whistles to the lenses.

So to answer your question, a set of frames off the rack, absolutely not.

I was just noticing some on sale at Palmetto State Armory if anyone thinks these are a good deal.

They still have quality lens so if you like them and don't lose glasses regularly then get them. I still have Revos from 25 years ago and Vuarnets from much farther back so I always feel like I get my fair use out of them. I prefer Persols today and don't like most of the CDM frames but they are good sunglasses.

If you order now, you get a free pair of frat straps and PFG with your glasses.

Boca del Vista has a way less intrusive HOA.

No. Buy $50 Shady Rays instead. Look like Costas and have excellent warranty

I was always a big Costa fan until I found some Shady Rays that fit my head perfectly, they were like $50.00.

I broke them (my fault) and they sent me a new pair for the cost of shipping.

Check out Woot. From time to time, you can get glass lense Costas for dirt cheap and polarized Persols for less than 200 bucks.

In fact, right now Steve McQueen Persols are 179 bucks.

Eye protection is ubiquitous. You can find the right stuff for $20 if you want to. Costa has slightly better tech but mostly it's brand awareness at this point.

I have multiple pairs of Costas including some Zane's I wore exclusively for over 10 years. They have all been replaced by Maui Jims. The lenses are just better.

It depends on your priorities. Costas are the highest quality glasses that I have ever owned. If you value well built products, you should consider a pair.

On the other hand, if you are constantly losing your stuff or jus don’t place a priority on that kind of quality, you should probably opt for something cheaper.
