we definitely won’t get another rebrand but New Orleans Voodoo would have been 100000x better than Pelicans.

Love them. Also wish we made those 21-22 city edition uniforms our main whites

nah, i'm with you... the logo is clever, i'll give them that, but the font and design of the jerseys is terrible...
we need to petition to change our colors to the mardi gras colors... other than maybe Pittsburgh, i don't think any city in the country has as much tie to a city as the purple, green, and gold does to NOLA...

Don't know if I'd want them permanent because I feel like the neon would get old, but at least get rid of the whites. The reds are still a pretty nice uniform imo, and the blues are decent. Ideally a combo of the reds, mardi gras (with the horizontal stripes) and skelicans.

It makes me wonder, I’ve never met another Pels fan who thinks our team name was a good choice. It makes me wonder how the rebrand team settled on that name…

The logo is clever for an alternate that dips into the voodoo aesthetic of the city, but it'd be pretty dumb if our main logo was a bird carcass.

That’s the only hold up. Just rebrand the pelican logo and keep the skelican logo for the “Mardi Gras” or special games. White, purple and green jerseys with black as the skelican special jerseys

There will be some new uniforms next season. There will be a different iteration of the Skelican uniform next season.
I wish the league would go back to allowing a new uniform set for those who make the playoffs. I don’t particularly care if the team wore Mardi Gras uniforms again because we pigeon hole ourselves into only wearing them for six weeks. However, they should be sold just because it’s an easy money grab.

Nope, not even close. 9-9 record if I calculated correctly from schedule which shows jersey worn next to scores. NBA Pelican's Schedule

I’m a big fan of the old school timelessness of “Pelicans/Pels”
The only one I was down for as well was the Krewe but just like VooDoo, I will always associate irregular plurals with the WNBA.

the perlis mardi gras colors are still my favorite but ill take any sort of rebranding at this point
