Available? It’s practically impossible to avoid it.

While being with my father for his treatment at M.D. Anderson's years ago, we got off on the wrong floor. Walked into a large waiting room, easy over 50-60 patients, full of kids. Two more similar rooms on 2 other floors. The most depressing sight I've ever experienced. Can't imagine what those numbers are now. Those doctors & support staff deserve all the medals for valor in the world.

More mammograms and colonoscopies are being done which is a good thing. But, more people need to realize that cancer isn't all 100% bad luck. There are things we can do in our homes and to our bodies to help reduce the chances of ever being diagnosed with it.

Yeah they dropped the screening colonoscopy age 3 years ago to 45 instead of 50. Won’t be surprised if it is dropped to 40 in time.
Obviously women have to stay on top of their breast exam stuff early.
And skin exams

Sitting around on your phone and eating processed foods and energy drinks all day… has its consequences.

Smoking rates among young people have gone down, too. Maybe smoking increases risk of lung cancer, but fights off others like throat cancer.
