Young people are more sedentary and there's more garbage food available.
It isn’t a new trend.
I was the youngest person ever diagnosed of a particular variety of adenocarcinoma(at least at that time).
It is rarely seen in anyone younger than 50.
I was around 15. Docs wanted to do total exploratory (which we declined) because it was viewed as a way to evaluate the pathology in a clean system: without the damages of age.
Also weighed around 130 so skip that excuse too.
This was over 20 years ago.
Imagine it’s gotten worse.

Of particular concern is colon cancer among young people. Data has shown the rate of cases among people ages 20 to 34 have risen 40 percent between 2010 and 2020
Yet insurance won't pay for a colonoscopy before age 45.

That’s a good time for a pure blood check in

At 35 I was diagnosed with stage 3 small bowel cancer. At the time, rare. Not as rare anymore I don’t think. I was born in 1981 and diagnosed in 2016. 7 months of chemo and a horrible surgery.
Cured as of February 2022.
All that to say, I had a very poor diet, but was always far from sedentary lifestyle.
I 100% blame the diet.

Seed oils, glyphosate, poor soil, poor food quality

Glad you survived. What were your symptoms? Did you drop a lot of weight?

With how profitable cancer treatment is for health insurance agencies and hospitals you'd think they'd be lowering the guidelines for screenings but I'm starting to think they'd rather young people die off than pay for 50 years of checkups and chemo for young adults

That might be the dumbest thing I’ve heard

Between 1990 and 2019, cases of cancer in young people across the globe have increased by 79 percent and deaths have risen 28 percent.
Why did you stop at 2019? I think we all know why

In 2023, an estimated 9,910 children younger than 15 and about 5,280 teens ages 15 to 19 in the United States were diagnosed with cancer. Rates of cancer in children and teens have slowly increased since 1975, but they stabilized between 2010 and 2019. However, rates in teens are now increasing again by around 1% each year.
Cancer is the top disease-related cause of death for children and teens in the United States. After accidents, cancer remains the second leading cause of death in children

Throat cancer. HPV is a major factor.

Your conspiracy theories are running afoul of each other.
