As fricked as our cap is, it would be a travesty to have anyone being paid more than a min contract as a backup qb. This isn’t a championship team so it doesn’t matter.

We had him last year and didn't use him even when Carr was hurt to the point of costing us games.
So nah. I wish he'd have gotten the start in a few games - we'd have probably made the playoffs. But that's water under the bridge now. I wish him well.

There’s like 4 quarterbacks in the NFL that can perennially contend. I’ll never lose sleep over my backup. If I lose my starter, I’m probably not in a position to do much anyway.
