IMO he'd do a great job, plus it would position him for 2028.

His political career is over. He needs to pay attention to Florida and set it up for success.

Yeah why is that? Did he not do a good job as Governor?

Has he not done so? Is Florida not set up for success?

And yet Trump's political career is still going strong after getting destroyed, as an incumbent, in a General Election by a dementia patient and doing everything in his power to hand the Dems both GA Senate seats and control of the Senate.

You can't make this up.

He'll be leading the Republican resistance against Biden's agenda and people like you will be begging him to do so and cheer him on when he does.

DeSantis knows the law. If .. if ... if .. Trump trusts him, and that would be a damn hard call, DeSantis could be a kick-arse AG.

Why? The Governor of Florida has tons more clout, you don't have to deal with Congress, or play third fiddle Cabinet Officer.

He's going to be Governor through 26.

In 27 he will do TV stuff and gear up for his 28 run.

It's what he should have done from the start.

That makes Ron an even better man.

He knew Trump would lose and that it would be hard for him and did it anyway.

What a great man.

I would rather see Ron as Secretary of Homeland Security and then he could send all the illegals back where they came from and shut the border down.

You know how when liberal idiots call you, me, Trump, math, roads, vegetables, credit scores above 800, and garage door pull cords racist they render that term meaningless?

Nah keep him in Florida then he can ramp up for 2028. Hopefully he learned a lot from his epic disaster of 2024

General elections are akin to sports in some ways. Most similar in the “matchups” department. Just because a candidate can’t win the primary doesn’t always mean he wouldn’t perform well in a general.
