Absolutely. And right here in La. the two most popular governors in our history were Huey Long and Edwin Edwards. They were also the two most corrupt governors we had.

So you are okay with the following if it helps you get that big mean orange dude:
- Retrospectively changing the laws on statutes of limitations and then having a woman who has falsely accused a half a dozen men of sexual assault bring charges against a man 30 years later when she can rememebr what year, what season, what she was wearing and has no collaborating witnesses……yeah that will stand up on appeal!
- You are okay with a former President with classification authority being charged when Obama did the same thing. Even worse you will defend you Potato in Chief when as a Senator he stole classified documents from a SCIF, lied to prosecutors and stored them where or adversaries could potentially have has access to them.
- Lastly, you are okay with charging a man and leveling the largest fine ever in a case with no victims, the Banks were repaid in full and they testified they would loan him money again……yeah that will stand up on appeal.

Off the top of my head? The House - Marcus Luttrell, Mike Johnson. The Senate - Rand Paul. There are others. As far as the Senate is concerned? I'll just say we need term limits bad.
