these kinds of comparisons are silly.
It's not apples-to-apples, because each pair of WRs played in a different system with a different QB, OL, RB, etc.
There's no way to legitimately compare them, so why try? Why not just be happy we had all of them when we did?

Unpopular opinion. I think Nabors and Thomas would’ve had even better numbers in the 2019 burrow offense than Chase and Jefferson.

All of these duos are great. I would take Jefferson and Chase.
Some other good duos were Reuben Randle and Odell Beckham (2011), Dwayne Bowe and Craig “Buster” Davis (2006), Michael Clayton and Devery Henderson (2003), and Josh Reed and Michael Clayton (2001).
Terrace Marshall and Kayshon Boutte in 2020 probably could have been great if that season wasn’t such a mess and if both of those guys were all in on the football program.

Man we have had so many good wide receiver duos.

You can’t give a wrong answer. That is three all-time WR combos.

It’s crazy that those might be the two best catches that any one of those 6 WR’s listed had in college.
Landry’s over the back catch against Arkansas was the most improbable catch I’ve ever seen in over a half century of watching football. I believe that if you stopped action on every reception ever, about a half second before the ball got there, then that catch would have the longest odds against it.

jarvis has the best hands i’ve ever seen
he just isn’t as fast as any of those other WR and speed is very important.

Chase and Jefferson
My favorite duo of all time though is Josh Reed and Jerel Myers

Dude got 2000 yards in 13 games with Rohan. Are you trying to see if he could get 3k in one year?

Pernod, I agree with you about Jarvis’s catch against Arky. On the replay from the front you can see the DB’s hands about to clasp the ball, when Jarvis (behind the DB) rips his left hand between the DB’s hands to make a one-handed catch, while flying nearly horizontally. It was unfortunate that Mett tore his ACL on the play.

What I love about this discussion is this: "
"Come to LSU. We want you to be iur #1, but even our #2s are first round picks (Jarvis being a 1st round talent)
