Brought me to my first away game - (SEC Championship vs UT in ATL)…. I was hooked from there out. Also, during a trip to Tempe for the game that got moved due to Katrina- we were boarding a flight in Houston and someone made a half arse joke about hurricane Katrina and VD scalded and berated him until the PoS apologized. I knew right then and there he was a real one. RIP big guy

He had some really cool Tiger memorabilia when I visited his office years ago. Guy just bled purple and gold. Condolences to the family, he will be missed.
