What makes them mid? They have 7 players currently projected to get drafted. We have 0. Does that mean we're a dogshit team? Or is that we actually have good players but McMahon can't coach.. Which is it this time?

Why can't you just be happy and appreciate an upset. Some of y'all are intolerable

That's up to him and what worries me going forward.

That's where this little run, and particularly this win over Kentucky, comes in. It's the sign that you can come to LSU and win in his system.

I think people were waiting to see that, and now it's happening.

Some of you people are very insufferable and have way too high of an opinion of yourselves. Who are you to say Kentucky is a “mid” team?

It’s people like you that give the good LSU fans a bad rap. Not happy unless y’all are miserable.

Huge momentum to end the season. Finish strong and carry it into next season!

Coach McMahon is proving me and many others wrong. Which is what you always like to see. Nobody wants to have to fire a coach. They want them to figure it out and it’s looking like he is

Thats his job to do, and ultimately why he will fail long term.

Calipari is on his way out. He has lived on recruiting and talent alone. Most overrated coach in the history of college basketball.

He is a much better bench Coach than Will Wade.

Wade's teams generally got weaker as the season progressed. I'll take McMahon.

Smh. You’ll take missing the ncaa tournament over going every year?

Im stoked about the hopeful direction of the program after 2 big wins, but this revisionist history makes yall look like fools. Will wade is and was a great coach, hopefully we get to say the same about mcmahon as well.

HOLD on- we are 6-7 in conference- when we start not losing to lower ranked teams- then you can say that. Not saying its not a good Win-, but we need come more consistent and improve our recruiting.

I wouldn't go so far as to say "arrived" just yet. LSU sports is riddled which such premature definitive statements. Trent Johnson "arrived"...until he didn't. John Brady "arrived" in his 3rd season...until promptly returning to last place in year 4. Johnny Jones had the fanbase geeked...until he didn't.

But what you can say is that for the first time in his tenure there is a pulse and a reason to believe. For him personally you saw him shed a little bit of his robotic demeanor and seemingly feel comfortable in his own skin. Contrary to popular belief, LSU fans really want him to succeed. And these last two games have given them hope, for the first time, that could be possible.

Clearly the good vibes around the program are flowing and the schedule is favorable to keep that going. But it was great to see he, his family, his players, and the fans feeling good after a game. We won't fully know until much later if he's "arrived". But here's to hoping we all look back someday on these last two games and say that was the moment when it started.

Absolutely, I think CMM is starting to get comfortable here. Which is a good thing, if he is loose and confident so will the team.

I wish someone would have given him the mic instead of Gold pants after the game. Him thanking the students while they were on the court would have been a great moment. LSU brand team needs to pick it up.

This isn't about whether Mcmahon is better than Wade. This is about Mcmahon being a good coach. Which he is. Anyone saying different is an idiot. Is he a championship coach? That remains to be seen. If you would have told me LSU could beat SC and KY without their 16ppg starting PG I would have laughed. A good coach overcomes adversity. He has. A good coach develops players. He has.A good coach motivates his team and has them play hard for 40 minutes. He has. A good coach has his team improve throughout the season. He has. Look at this team before Cook became eligible. They were lost on offense. Look at this team without Cook the last few games. Haven't missed a beat. Why? Coaching and the development of players.
