Bologna towers italy

Couldn't imagine walking around Italy in the middle ages and seeing this city

I feel like I can smell the Thames in the picture. It was probably so disgusting.

Have been to the top of the Bologna Towers still standing but I didn’t realize they had a bunch more in earlier times.

Maybe not on one that they wrote a song about it falling down, though.

Imagine......walking out on your porch and a bunch of bridge children are out in the neighbor's bridge yard holding hands, running in a circle, and talking about the bridge you live on falling down. That'd really work on the nerves.

These never existed and are just myths and artists renderings.

It’s a shame the old London bridge was demolished

It stood for 600 years

I have been to the main bologna tower that's still there. Read recently that it's degraded to the point, it's roped off and collapse is inevitable at some point sooner than previously thought.
