Another reason FSU to the SEC makes more sense is if they join the B10 then they'd handicap themselves playing both UF and Miami annually.

The average UVA admin will look down on the Big 10. It’s a social thing. Snobbery I guess.

I can't see UNC ever really being a big-time force on the CFB frontier. they already have the ability and donors to be big time in football and at minimum a force in the ACC and they don't. they would make more money in the SEC of course but then there's the fact that you're going from competing against FSU and Clemson to Bama UGA LSU Texas Florida Tennessee etc. UNC would be a great add but let's not pretend they're coming on their football pedigree

UNC would never be anything better than middle tier. We are well aware of this fact.
We all know it but we need the SEC for our athletic dollars and to continue supporting our 28 teams. Plus we need $$ to keep our basketball program elite.

Nobody wants to go to the BIG other than our college administrators and faculty.

I’m not saying they’re historically or presently a FB power. I’m saying it wouldn’t be impossible for them to raise their level of investment in FB if they’re in the SEC.

They’d have way more money to play with than ever before and they’d know that FB is the gravy train for the whole thing. The feather in Mack Brown’s cap could be playing a big part in getting UNC into the SEC.

The ACC has never been a football first league like the SEC. I think UNC could be like another Mizzou at the very least. If they get their ducks in a row and really play off of the SEC brand I don’t see why UNC couldn’t be decent.

The only thing being handicapped by playing UF is the strength of schedule. They’re down there with Arkansas in terms of a schedule booster these days.

Tulane to ACC

Why? Why not the Big 12? Much better fit and closer to many teams in the Big 12.

The obvious fit is sec but how does that help sec

That will keep LSU from winning a championship(s) in football. FSU owns LSU.

If all we are considering is footprint and tv markets then UNC and UVA, but FSU and Clempson are both cultural fits for the current SEC

UF fans riding FSU cock. I’ve seen low but this is pretty bad.

Enjoy your losses to UCF Miami and FSU

I just have a hard time thinking UVA is truly that high on the SEC's list. It doesn't have the brand exposure like UNC and it isn't a football power or a cultural fit like Clemson FSU VT or even NCSU

The Choices The SEC should Make are in this order

1. UNC - Blue Blood Basketball, Avg Football , Good Regional Fit
2. NC State - Good in Football (they care about Winning) Good in Hoops Regional Fit
3. Clemson - A Football Fit , Social , Cultural and Regional match
4. Maybe Virginia - Maybe Duke or possible hold out for a OK State later down the line

All these Teams have a Strong Basketball traditions , Its what the SEC needs... If this happens we are not behind the ACC or the Big10 anymore in hoops. we jump 2 spots

We (The SEC) would be the Strongest all around Conference in the USA.

We don't need FSU, Miami, Georgia Tech, or Virgina Tech let the Big10 have them.
And really it wouldn't hurt my feels if Clemson went too...

They need some other Strong Football team to beat-up on UM, Ohio St, Penn. St, Wisconsin and USC

We need to stop trying to make Miami happen. They’re not going to happen.
