What a communist nation we now live in.
Will be appealed. In the end, I hope Trump and every business owned by his family sues the state and wins billions.

Not even a pretense of justice. No one was hurt, all lenders had the opportunity to do their own evaluations, an attorney general that announced while campaigning she was going to get Trump. Now an order of dissolution, this is right out of Joe Stalin's handbook. frick these bastards.

It could be straight out of an Ayn Rand novel. It's utter farce and unbelievably destructive. It will NEVER stand. Of all of them this one sets the most dangerous precedent and the most outrageous.
On the positive side, all this just makes Trump's election inevitable.

I'm by no means an expert, but I believe he can operate businesses in any other state. What I'm less than clear about is can he do business with any banks that are licensed to operate in the state of New York.

Here's the thing about it. Unless something happens to punish these actions, at some point the whole system will become just like this.
What I mean is rogue judges and state prosecutors removed for these political tactics. They should lose their right to be an attorney/Judge.
If nothing happens, the higher courts will move in the same direction.
