The warrant said officers looked at security footage and saw the victim drinking outside with her husband, walking into the building, going to the bathroom and then stumbling up to the bar where Olivas was.

The husband probably dropped the news that he was done with her due to her drinking and erratic/juvenile behavior. He then left and she went back into the bar.

Sounds like somewhere, someone slipped her something. I’ve heard of this happening randomly around BR in various bars and restaurants so be aware of each other. One instance was at a very popular bar/restaurant in the afternoon. Nothing bad happened there, but after one or two drinks (confirmed on cameras) the person was fall down out of it.

News story says she was unconscious when the defendant was making out with her. That’s not good.

No it doesn’t. It says she isn’t conscious in the photos he took at home.

She walked up to the bar and started making out with him while her husband sat on the patio

It absolutely says she was not conscious when he was kissing (making out) her. Did the story stutter? If she was slipped a drug, she wouldn’t have any idea of what she was doing.

five photos he took during the sexual encounter. Arrest documents say that "in the photos, the victim does not appear to be conscious as he was kissing her."

I think there’s a SMALL chance her husband just lost track of her, just due to a personal experience of mine.

Someone drugged my girlfriend in a bar our freshman year (like 2nd week after move-in) and he took her out of the bar while I was rounding up our friends to help me get her home. I turned my back and it seemed like she was just gone. Catch up to this dude who I recognize from the bar about a block down the street in a Bank of America parking lot, carrying my girlfriend to his car. He sets her down and puts his hands up saying “hey, I just found her”. As soon as I check on her and see that she’s okay, I start throwing right crosses into that frickers face. It took my friends a while to catch up to me and pull me off and I’m pretty sure I broke some bones in my hand, but I was going off rage and adrenaline. Our friends pile us into a taxi van and we took off before any cops arrive. We all learned valuable lessons about bar safety that night.

My girlfriend repaid me nicely the next year by cheating on me. Nice girl. I missed her family more than I missed her.

Anybody in the know care to give a general description of the victim? I’m guessing a late 40’s early 50’s blonde swinger. I could be wrong though.

You’re reading it wrong and not taking into account the editor of that website is shite.

Victim does not appear conscious in photos, as opposed to when she was at the bar.

It’s shite phrasing and confirmed by the other sentences saying she walked up and started making out with him

Bingo. Noticed in the story she called an Uber to get her at 645am. Not her husband. Yea that's some real important information there.

I used to blow off the "I was drugged" stories as girls getting wasted and making bad decisions. Until it happened to me. I was out with some girls in New Orleans and one of them ordered a round of drinks. After she ordered, I ended up paying for the round and getting them from the bar. I had about half the drink, went to the bathroom and don't remember anything until I woke up at the hotel. It was the start of the night and only my second drink. The people I was with said I was fine and went to the bathroom and "came back as another person." 100% I was drugged.

I have been blackout drunk and you always get some memories back. At least flashes of the evening. That night is a complete blank spot in my life. Pretty disconcerting really. I am just glad it wasn't the whole group. All I can figure is one of the bartenders must have had his eyes on one of the girls in the group or planned to maybe rob one of us? It was weird to me they would spike one drink out of an order of three.

In the photos. The photos he took of her at home, not in the video at the bar.

Duvics is easily the biggest pile of shite bar in that area.

Some frick head stole all of our groups card numbers last time we went.

And ALL I said was he was making out with her and taking pics of it when she was passed out AND that is not good. All true. The bar part is not the “rape” part. I’m not reading anything wrong. Maybe learn how to objectively read a story and know the definitions of and difference between “video footage” and “five photos” before making comments. The article never said she was “passed out” at the bar.

Folks, focus on the big picture of people randomly drugging those at bars and restaurants and watching out for each other. This woman appears almost certainly drugged and it ended up badly. If she wasn’t, it’s still happening as others have confirmed.

SO IF YOU TAKE A PHOTO OF SOMEONE WHO HAS THEIR EYES CLOSED DOES THAT MEAN THEY ARE UNCONSCIOUS?
