If you can get past the Soviet iconography, Moscow is beautiful, for the most part. The Metro is deeeeep underground because it’s also a fallout shelter of sorts. The entrances to the Metro cars are reliefs of workers, farmers and soldiers holding up the ceiling. Really cool stuff.

This is exactly what he is saying. Places in the West that we consider bastions of democracy (Paris, London, NYC) are incredibly trashy compared to places we don't consider the bastions of democracy (Singapore, Abu Dabi, Moscow).

Our system is a race to the bottom because it subsidizes dysfunction and puts dysfunctional people in leadership.

Weve fallen off a cultural cliff.

I've been to Singapore a few times, and Dubai a couple of times. Ditto. Singapore especially.

Here's one reason why Singapore is nicer:

Another reason why Singapore is so nice. This used to be government policy, but it may have been relaxed, because their population actually started to decline. But this used to be the government policy...

In Singapore, the government paid for everything for the first two kids. 100%. Health care, college education, etc.

If you have a third kid...you pay for everything for them. And the fourth.

Government housing accommodates families of four, only. Not five.

So the only people who have more than two kids are the people who can afford to have more than two kids.

I can say unequivocally they are nicer and cleaner looking than American cities.

I'm guessing they don't have 13% of their population committing 50% of their violent crime.

Idiot post of the day award goes to you!

What’s his point??? His point is that the USA is being run into the ground and it’s evident to anyone that opens their eyes and not a liberal idiot thinking we are on the road to Utopia!

I’ve been on NYC subways twice in the past 6 months, it’s a hell-hole and wouldn’t do it with any of my female loved ones.

They have bums basically living in there and taking up 2 rows of seating at the end of every car.

To Answer your question, Tucker is stating the obvious!

I think he is just advising people of the realities as we get little to no media coverage of Russia. Also, probably a bit disappointing to see in that we, as a nation, should do better and don’t.

There is a huge mob element in Moscow and St. Petersberg, to the point of, if you, as Westerner, get into the wrong taxicab, you might very well end up without your teeth.

I have lived there, viTucker just visited by the way he had bodyguards with him 100 percent of the time (look at the pictures, they are with him all the way until he gets on his flight at the aiport).

Gives them 12 months to figure it out?

Tokyo is the cleanest city I've ever been to. Flipped a cig butt on the sidewalk once and within 5 seconds some Jap grabbed my arm and pointed at the butt, which I picked up. I looked around and noticed there was no trash, paper, or any kind of litter to be seen anywhere. Those people are clean freaks. Very impressed!

Why?

Because he pointed out that Moscow appears clean and safe?

Having been there once, I will say their mass transport is way nicer than ours. Of course it helps when you can straight up kick the shite out of anyone acting up who might otherwise tag or damage such facilities.

I haven't been to Russia or Singapore, but I have been to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The cities are spotless. It's almost surreal. It's like walking through a movie set. My host explained that petty crimes like littering are dealt with extremely harshly, prison time for a gum wrapper on the ground. Thus, no littering.

Tucker goes on to say on this subject in this interview the reason his kids don't smoke pot at the breakfast table is because he says No. Why can't leaders in these cities just say "No" and stop allowing it? "It's that simple" said Carlson.

It's not the 90s, I spent a lot of time walking around Moscow late at night, either by myself, or with my girlfriend. And I took plenty of random cabs I called on Yandex. I never found myself in a situation that set off my radar. And I went to clubs too.
