Wade isn’t a dumb frick; he made a mistake. He’s a damn good recruiter, has a great sense of assistant coaching talent, and he’s got the MO to be a successful P5/G5 coach and he’s on his way back.
You mulleys that are shitting all over him because he made a mistake are going to wish Wade would come back to LSU in 2-3 years, after McSoft fails and gets fired, and Wade continues his trek back toward success.

Wade was never going to take LSU to great heights. Decent offensive coach, subpar defensive coach. He failed to instill basic defensive principles, I.e how to handle screens and had absolutely no idea what help or weak side defense is. He was below average in designing plays during timeouts and absolutely stunk it up under 2 minutes in tight games.

What I'm saying is that LSU still has 2 paths; they can go on a run and play themselves in, or they can win the conference tourney. If they go 20-11, I'd say they're in.
McNeese can't play themselves in. It won't matter if they get near 30 wins, I seriously doubt they survive the cut if someone ambushes them in the conference tournament. He's a solid coach in a dogshit conference.
