Don't worry. They'll soar again over the summer and POTUS can drain the strategic reserve to get them down by 1 cent a gallon in September.

You think gas prices are moving because it's an election year? Are you 12?

Its par for the course around here. We are now the greatest exporter of oil in the world but muh pipeline.

IDK. I got gasoline this past Thursday and the price was much higher than the previous Thursday.

and the stock markets are going up for absolutely no reason at all when they should be hitting new lows.
the way democrats manipulate things to pay for elections and make dumb people happy is very predictable. just like after trump wins, democrats manipulate things to crash the markets

Who do you think "they" is in this scenario? Gas is closely tied to crude oil prices and that's a global commodity. So who do you think is trying to rig things for Biden? Russia? The Saudis? Major Oil companies? All of the above?

I’m acknowledging normal market forces. I’d be pretty suspicious if the price didn’t ever change.

Website hasn’t been updated to show prices reflected in the usual Monday release, but looks like the national average for regular gasoline increased by 3 cents per gallon from January 22 to January 29, and the January 29 average was 39 cents per gallon lower than the same time last year.

Where?
Serious question because looks like January 29, 2024 week for US average of Regular was $3.095 per gallon. November 27, 2023 was $3.238 per gallon.

The SPR was already drained by approximately 50% by the fraudulent PotatoUS

Gas prices steadily fell all last year too. Do you thunk the President has a button on his desk to adjust gas prices up and down at will?
