Do you think we will see Saban come back to LSU to honor him at some point?

Curious to see if in the future he comes back for a game. 2028 will be 25 years since the 03 Championship.

I have no problem with it if so. I’m thankful for his time here.

Saban hates LSU now imo.

Should have a statue, along with Miles, Dietzel, and O. Same thing for each Heisman winner.

My sense is he would not reciprocate the outreach.

Do you think we see posters stop posting about Saban at some point? Dude has been gone for 20 years. We thanked him in 2003, move the hell on.

He has his rock solid place in LSU football history.
Even his own history will always include his first 'ship at LSU, but goes back to his other coaching schools as well.
Ultimately, he will always be most remembered for his time at Alabama, so I doubt he does anything at any other school or the Dolphins in the future.

The next chance would be in 2028, which would be the 25th Anniversary of the 2003 championship. Other than that, I don't think there would be much reason for him to return...unless LSU decided to start individually honoring all NC winning coaches.

It's too soon.
I hope he does (and we do it) at some point. But it needs to be a "last hoorah" type of thing. I wouldn't mind seeing a tribute to him outside Tiger Stadium at some point, especially if it was part of a small "park" where we had a Yankees Stadium sort of monument to all of our Championship winning coaches. Love to see him attend the opening of something like that. I'd love to shake Nick's hand and say thanks for getting us back to the top, but I still wouldn't piss on Alabama if they were on fire.
A decade of Bama sucking hind tit and us beating the ever-loving shite out of them 10-12 times would make it a WHOLE lot easier!!![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Don't think an individual honor would happen, but I could see him returning on a celebration of the entire 2003 championship team anniversary at some point.
