Drag us into another ME war. That's a surefire way to lose 2024.

I hate foreign entanglements but given they’re attacking ships via proxy then yeah we need to do something.

Oh cool. Another multination war across the Middle east. We can probably milk this one into 2050.

Better reason to attack Iran than there ever was for attacking Iraq

This is why the republicans in DC suck. Too much of their investments are in Raytheon Northrop etc.

One eye McCain is such a bitch.

When do they all ship out?

We are in this shite due to failed policies from corrupt politicians so until they are the ones on the front lines they can all go frick themselves

We can continue to take incoming fire from Iran’s proxies, or we can hold Iran accountable.

So they aren’t wrong. I don’t know about “bomb Tehran”. I think you can surgically send a message of “continue to frick around and find out”.

It’s true that you can’t let it go. But what the best response? Tehran? I don’t think that’s the answer right now unless we’re willing to go a whole helluva lot further with things and keep it up for a very long time.

Is it in our national interests? This is not like maintaining international shipping lanes like Somolia.

Warmongers are one trick ponies. Invade a country, put US troops in harms way and continue to poke until a few die. They love their forever wars.

Winning a war isn’t policing your enemy, it’s defeating them. You should never go to war unless you plan on conquering or committing genocide. We aren’t willing to do either; therefore, we should reevaluate our position in a lot of foreign regions.
