Williams couldn't hit shite and HVL with some huge bone headed mistakes.
Losing Reese was the dagger and HVL is a big reason she fouled out.
Still they played their arse off.
HVL will be better for this, as will Williams.

1 game foul on USC center, Reese fouls out with 4 minutes.
Will be downplayed because the last one was actually a foul, but 3 of those 5 were absolute dogshit.

Just glad we played against Iowa for the Championship. This is looking like us in football against Bama. No matter how good we think we are,Bama will always win. So will South Carolina. Year after year after year.

This is why I can never get that into basketball. Football is bad enough but basketball refs are on a whole different level of shittiness. Refs ruined what could have been a classic.

Almost everything that could go wrong did and they were in the game until the last 45 seconds. That is encouraging to me. LSU will make a run in the tournament and could very well win it all again.

SC has been recruiting at the highest level for a while now. kim will get lsu to that level very soon
that being said, im more confident lsu wins it all now than i was before this game. williams wont go 1/10 from 3 again in her lsu career. and refs were atrocious

… i understand that Tigers may have to play HVL at the point due to Team personnel, but can they find someone else to inbound the ball? Williams? Flau’jae? anyone?

Oddly enough, I feel the same way. This team is getting better and better. ADR stepped up nicely. This team will be ready come March.

I’m not going to give this loss to refs in spite of calls I didn’t agree with. That’s part of the game unless they’re egregious.
I expected SC to come back in the 2nd half. We have to do better and we have the potential to do better. As CKM said in her interview, no matter the outcome, they will learn.
I thought my heart was going to beat right out of my chest during most of this game though!

Was an exciting, winnable game. If this team can play with that intensity going forward, they will be fine.
