He gave up on a clear TD in the first half and had several other negative plays as well

First thing that came to my mind when reading this thread.

Me too. Where does Alabama's former baseball coach fit into all of this?

This isn't as hard as it seems if you are betting thousands on games. All the wagers add up to a lot but you are winning and losing some.

Maybe this explains why he looked like he just didn’t care very much during some of LSU’s games in 2022.

Would not be surprised if this is why he reneged on his decision to come back for his senior year.

He did Daniels, Nabers and Thomas Jr a huge favor by not coming back.

Or why someone else decided he wasn't coming back.

LSU has issued a statement, WAFB has updated the article:

quote:

LSU issued the following statement:

“In July 2023, LSU was made aware of allegations regarding a former student-athlete’s improper conduct related to sports gambling while enrolled at the University.

Since then, we have fully cooperated with all relevant authorities involved in the investigation and will continue to do so.

We have no evidence that any other student-athletes participated in these prohibited activities, and we are grateful for measures that detect and discourage sports gambling related misconduct.”

That’s including potential payout amounts. They worded that in a way to make it seem like that’s how much he was risking. I could risk $1 right now and make a 25 leg parlay to win $500k. Doesn’t mean I have $500k

Glad everyone can finally be on the same page about that POS. Horrible representative of LSU, horrible football player, horrible attitude. Hopefully he’s never associated with our school again

I get that. I’m just saying it still adds up. I saw someone say he might have been acting as a bookie, placing bets for others which would make a lot of sense.

Edit to say that I just saw that he placed 9,000 bets so I’m assuming he was betting for a lot of people.
