Will anyone really miss any of these publications?
Anectdocal but I don’t know when the last time I’ve looked at any of these magazines or papers listed

It's been in a free fall for a long time

Journalism has been in the toilet for some time now. I don't see any improvement in the near future.

Maybe they can learn to code

The media is currently the enemy.

1. Professional journalism is largely non-existent. It is almost all tabloid style or political propaganda.
2. No one seems interested in having a truly reliable, non-tabloid style news service. I would like to see someone try it to see if it could succeed.
3. Journalism has failed.
Hopefully, one day true journalism will return. There will always be the tabloids and political tripe, but at least we could have some truly reliable sources of news.

Get woke, go broke.
People are sick and tired of the heavily left leaning biased spin on everything from news to TV and movies to commercials to articles on heart burn.
Liberals have become so emboldened that they aren't even trying to hide their corrupt bias.
frick em all.

No as they only functioned as propaganda outlets anyways.

Journalism has been dead so long its bones have long since bleached out and turned to dust. They chose to cast aside all pretense of objectivity and the vast majority openly operate as cogs in the wheel that is the Democrat Party propaganda apparatus. Fewer and fewer Americans trust anything they say. The only ones who do are those gullible and feeble minded enough to be easily lied to.

I'm going to be using this A LOT.
The schadenfreude is real seeing all these propagandists losing their paychecks.

The media bloodbath continues as viewers/readers hold outlets accountable for shoddy journalism. The future is citizens connecting with individual journalists/hosts they trust. The days of the conglomerates deciding what’s “news” and controlling the narrative are over.

The Internet and proRegressives teamed together to drive newspapers into the dirt. No one wants to pay to read an article on the internet from a liberal newspaper .
Local tv news today compared to 1987 looks like a bunch of middle schools students on a VHS tape .

it's now the "profession" of ideological retards. from corruption in all forms to grammar, journalism in the form of these layoffs, circa 2023, is dead. it's useless to society; on the contrary, it's a detriment to society.
3 things must happen in order for this country to step back from the brink:
1) the nuclear family unit must be restored and incentivized.
2) politicians and bureacrats must be term-limited.
2) journalism and mainstream corporate media must be demolished and rebuilt to do what it is, by definition, supposed to do: inform- not instruct- succinctly, accurately, and with proper grammar.
