Why Brian Kelly Won’t Leave LSU For Michigan
By Jake Crain and David Cone
Jan 24, 2024
Jake Crain: Brian Kelly would be clinically insane to leave LSU for Michigan. Why? Not because Michigan isn’t a fantastic job or that there’s anything wrong with Ann Arbor, but because he’s already at a place where, believe it or not (at least in my opinion), it’s easier to establish dominance than at Michigan.

No shite. No sane LSU fan thinks he would actually go to Michigan

Because they're hiring Sherrone Moore.

Didn’t read. He’s obviously not leaving though

How about because he wont be offered. Just like Les Miles

Definitely needed another thread on this

Yeah probably all that (TLDR) but also because they already have a coach selected and will not even offer the job to Kelly.

We really didn’t need all those paragraphs. We know.

BK wants to win a national title. Thats why he left Notre Dame and has been his singular focus since he got to campus. He left a playoff contender to go to a rebuilding job because he knows if he gets LSU up and running then can win enough here to go down as an all time great coach. I HIGHLY doubt he is going to leave the monster he is building to go anywhere.

What about the fact that Michigan could be majorly whacked by the NCAa on the next couple of years? That’s a bigger negative than anything else.

Out of curiosity, who is Sherrone Moore’s agent?

Today I learned the Daily Wire writes about sports. Huh

Following Harbaugh this year would be almost as impossible as following saban.
And Kelly’s job just got a lot easier with saban retiring. Kelly to Michigan is the biggest nonstory of the year.

You don’t know Crain and Co? They are just part of daily wire. It was taken from their YouTube show.

Only complete dumbasses and opposing fans trying to speak it into existence think Brian Kelly would leave LSU for Michigan.

I honestly don't think Michigan would be high on Kelly's radar.
He was already at Notre Dame, which is an elite a Northern school as Michigan is. He left there to come try his hand in the SEC, and see what he can do; "win a championship" were the words, I believe.
He took over an LSU team that had gone sub-.500 the previous 2 seasons and had a severe roster shortage. As of now, he's had 2 10-win seasons, a win over Alabama and Nick Saban, an SEC West divisional title, and a Heisman Trophy winner. And he's just as aware as anyone else, he hasn't come near to reaching the program's potential as of yet.
If anything, the bigger threat to lose him would have been to Alabama, but he's already proven (to himself) that he can beat Alabama here.

Skip Bertman said that Les was offered the job in 2011.
Alleva was the AD in 2011. But you dont have to just take my word for it

And to summarize:
