She spent over $30 million in New Hampshire, had an open primary where the majority of the voters WEREN'T Republican (of which roughly 70% of them skewed towards her), and she still lost to Trump. This was her best chance to establish some kind of momentum. People are going to play this up as if it was some kind of overperformance but the writing's on the wall. Democrat and independent voters came out in droves to vote against Trump this evening. That won't happen in South Carolina. If this had been a closed primary, Trump would have won by 30+ percentage points.
