I’m guessing Buffalo is going to find a way to trade up to 2 to get Daniels. I think they’ve realized that they aren’t going to make a Super Bowl with their turnover prone QB Josh Allen.

He had 1,000 less yards and 10 less touchdowns... That's a pretty big difference

600 in one more game. His YPG was only 20 yards more (308 v. 288). And same passer rating/efficiency. They are very similar seasons.

The Chiefs may move up first and snipe the Bills. Mahomes will never make it as an NFL starter.

Tell me you know nothing about football without telling you know nothing about football. gezzzz

Ya, Josh Allen is horrible right? If he decided he wanted to move to another team, there would be 24 teams battling to get him as their QB.

So now we don't care about rushing stats? That is going to hurt your case that JD should be drafted above Maye.

I watched every game of Maye this year. He will need a great offensive line. Takes too long to get rid of the ball. Wasn’t expecting that with such an experienced starter

Lamar Jackson is going to make Jayden some money

It’s not just Lamar. Mahommes and Allen are two other qbs that can affect the game with their legs.

Mobile qbs is not a new thing. I remember when Elway and Young would carve up a defense with their running ability. That eventually made the defense play them differently and opened things up for everyone.

Never made a case for anyone's draft position.

I'm just pointing out it doesn't take a huge mental leap to see that Maye and Trubisky are very similar prospects, both physically and in college production against the same competition. People aren't (or shouldn't be) likening them just because they both went to UNC.

Obviously, the big question mark we can't know is how they interview. Maye might have a much better football IQ and might be a better leader, both of which are nearly critical for long-term QB success in the NFL. Time will tell I guess.

He did enough to win against KC. It was the defense that failed them; shitloads of injuries for them on that side of the ball.

..and, of course, wide right again.

I still can’t believe Caleb Williams is “a lock “ to be #1. Not only did he have far inferior stats to FARRRRRR inferior opponents but he has a shite attitude to go with it.

Fair, but there are several other quarterbacks over the years that are similar to Maye physically and statistically as well. To me it just makes for a lazy take when people say "he's just another Trubisky or Howell"

He has only started for 2 years. He can still improve. This would be similar to you evaluating Jayden after his 2021 season in which he threw for 10 TD and 10 INT.

Don't tell the Saints board. I was down voted to oblivion for saying Jayden would be a top 10 pick if not top 5.

So the Bills are going to take a 180 million dollar cap hit on JA contract?

May is another Mitch Trubisky

There's always at least one QB every draft that scouts drool over that doesn't have the college production and NFL guys are shocked when he doesn't pan out.

Matt Barkley
Zach Wilson
Matt Leinart
Brady Quinn
David Carr
EJ Manuel
Sam Bradford
Jameis Winston
Marcus Mariota
Mark Sanchez
Daniel Jones

100percent agree with you. He will not be the 1st QB taken. Probably 3rd or 4th.
