Have a kid who plays in MLSNext soccer and this is a requirement for player and one parent to attend. If we do not, he cannot play. They kind of skipped this requirement when joining team last Summer.

Find somewhere else for your kid to play soccer and file a lawsuit.

Are you and your son white?

This is just more proof that letting your kid play soccer is a sure way to make sure he turns out ghey.

Soccer is a third-world-TRASH game. Get your kid as far away from that as you possibly can!

If decent sane people would push back against this shite even at some level of personal sacrifice, rather than placating it because "oh well we just have to accept it or else", it might go away.
You're contributing to the problem in by willingly sitting in on their dumbass programming. I'd go, wait for the first ridiculous idea they present and stand up and walk out. If you just don't go, you're never missed. If you show up and walk out on their bullshite you're making a statement to everyone else who hates it but begrudgingly sits through it.

I would go with the kid, for a training session. With that shared data, a conversation with the kid regards participation trophies, and merit would be valuable in leading the kid to another soccer league

Well there's your answer. Just know, if you play along in their sick games, they win.
We are just about done with the "normalization" stage and will be moving to the "conform or die" stage soon.
Good luck.

While I dont agree with it at all, they probably let you guys escape with your penises.
I dont understnad. You are a consumer of their product, not a decision maker. But if there is ever something that needs some diversity, it is soccer. We get the right guys in there and we can win all the medals.

New Discourses Episode 104 "How to beat a struggle session" is a good listen.
You can choose:
Defiance- Tell us about your privileges. "I don't have any". We all have some privileges. "I do not. Please stop inferring."
Grey Rock- No emotions, no answers, no comments
Troll- this one requires the most skill as DEI instructors can be well trained in how to spot trolls.
Tell us about your privileges. "Well, like most of us, I am abled bodied in this form. But I am not ultra able bodied in my athleticism, which causes me to feel inferior around the former soccer players. Even right now in this session I feel like I'm being personally attacked by some of your words"

Bring some headphones and listen to an audiobook about critical race theory on how it’s a complete rip off of Karl Marx’s critical theory
