What defense will LSU run to slow down the interior game? Outside shooters?

It looks like a very difficult match-up especially late with their deep rotation.

Do you start Poa? If so, who sits?

SCe is gay. How lazy are you?

Mulkey will start the same rotation. How do they stop LSU?

If Hailey has been this aggressive all seasonLSU goes into this game undefeated.

I think you let SC live or die from beyond the arc…almost how Iowa played them last year. The X factor in this game for me is Flau’Jae.

The same starting five. It’s going to be only Poa and ADR off the bench IMO.

If they share the ball like they did today, anything can happen but it’s gonna be a tough one

The X factor for me is Mikayla Williams. If she is on her game like tonight, it’s gonna be a long day for South Carolina.

If the ladies play good defense, can rebound, shoot a bit better than average, they could win. Several shooters will have to be on. SCe has some big physical ladies in the paint.

I was thinking the same thing. Just let Williams take 70% of the shots aka Pistol Pete.

I read this somewhere - The difference between Pete and everyone else was stated like this: There wasn’t a shot he didn’t like or believe he could miss.

Get any player in foul trouble and LSU's rotation is screwed. That's the biggest risk with no depth.

It'll be physical so I think a big key will be foul trouble, by either team, but especially for LSU.

Lack of depth for LSU is not really an issue if the Fab 5 have to play for 35+ mins, while SC is subbing in lesser talented bench players. Advantage: LSU. However, if LSU loses a rebounder or scorer to foul trouble, it would be a major disadvantage.

We’ve played better defense the past 2 games hopefully that continues to carry over. SC still has to stop all of our scorers too. We have 5 players that could go off for 20-25 any night.

A big key is if Reese can hit her outside shots from the free throw line. Our guards also have to score some from the perimeter.

Carolina destroyed us on the boards last season.

IMO, we need a good outside shooting night Thursday in the PMAC. Make FT's and as few turnovers as possible.
