Kind of ironic that he's one of those 3 star players we gripe about getting. Just proves that there are a lot of lower ranked CB options in LA that can be great if we get the right coaching in place.

You just sent up the Pirate King bat signal.

I think my point is counter to his. There are a lot of under rated skill players in LA (DBs, WRs) that fly below the radar. We just need to have a good scouting system and coaching development.

Who cares. Give him an attitude adjustment he would be our CB1.
Said the same thing about Denver Harris

You land Amos and Ricks and your roster is set and ready to compete at every position besides DT then you can fully focus all your efforts to that spot
DT is arguably more important to me. I've always said a good DL makes a great secondary because football rules just make impossible to have a true shutdown secondary.

I think this is a chicken or egg scenario. They complement each other and a strength in one can make a weak unit of the other seem competent.

I do. If he is an attitude problem we'd be better off with a one-legged corner. At least his deficiencies would be neutralized by benching him.

The best part about Amos leaving is that he was CB #3. Kool aid Arnold are leaving for the draft. So bama lost there 3 starting corners for next year.

Anyone find it odd that Trey Amos, a corner from New Iberia announces he’s entering the portal the day before we hire a DB coach, who was a corner from New Iberia?
I do…. lock of the week. Amos to the Tigers!

I’d say a dominant D line can cause far more disruption than a dominant secondary.

Let's pull both Amos and the Robinson kid from Texas!

Yep, I've been saying the same thing. Many dump on the LSU secondary for the pass yards given up. And for sure, I don't care for Major Burns or Sage Ryan being able to cover for that matter. But when I see LSU 11th in sacks in the SEC that tells me they don't put enough pressure on the QB. And I liked what I saw in Toriano and Stamps. And I really thought Zy Alexander came on strong after he started looking back for the ball more before he got hurt. People keep talking about DT being an issue. How about someone/anyone in the EDGE/DE position other than Swinson put some pressure on the QB.

Amos and Ricks want to be paid a king's ransom. I'll pass !We should get a committment from the Antoine kid from Westgate soon and the probability is high that we could get Derek Williams from Texas via portal transfer. Ricks and Amos are whores !

Amos is visiting Tulane. Greenies have done well in the portal.

Derek Williams? Where’s that coming from?
