Trey Amos Bama CB PORTAL

Bring him home, Louisiana native chose Bama over LSU last year as a transfer after visiting both. Was Bama #3 corner this past year behind their 2 first round picks and was very good. Was excellent in SEC championship game vs UGA.

I may be honestly thinking about the wrong guy... but wasn't Amos benched by Saban directly for attitude (i.e. "practice participation, or lack thereof")?

So do we take both Amos and Ricks if possible? If so that probably be it with secondary and focus on DT

They already know who it is, guaranteed.
The reason it may not be “official” is because as long as he’s not an actual employee , he can contact whatever players he wants to from whatever teams he wants to

Rack em up!!! Load up the talent and worry about numbers later. As long you have more talent to work with in the offseason. With more elite defensive assistants, this defense could change considerably.
Keep the upcoming freshman, recruit up with the previous transfers and let your talent compete in the offseason. Have to do something about the DL but I have no doubt that we will make it happen.
I think we need more help on the DL than at DB, because those freshman who played and the incoming guys will make huge strides in the offseason with the new staff and new energy. Not only that, but if we focus hard on the DL and develop some of the talent here with Bo Davis then that helps the secondary do their jobs and look much better doing it.
If we have a front seven that stuffs the run game with 4 or 5 at most then that takes so much pressure off of the secondary to just simply cover and not worry about the run game much if at all. That leaves us with 6 or 7 guys to cover the pass game on every down. Then if we can get pressure with those same 4-5 guys then they don’t have to cover for long periods of time. Changes everything with an elite DL and LB’s. Our LBs should be very good so get that DL in the same shape or better and this D changes!!!

You land Amos and Ricks and your roster is set and ready to compete at every position besides DT then you can fully focus all your efforts to that spot
