Liberals one day:
“The boomers ruined this country with their entitlement spending!! We are gonna fix this mess!!
Liberals next day:
“We wanted another entitlement!! Why won’t you let us have more entitlements???!! REEE!!!”

There's a vast gulf of difference between people willingly giving to others or charitable organizations versus the government forcibly taking money from taxpayers then putting that toward programs which do more to perpetuate poverty than resolve
If we support the government forcing women to give birth to every child conceived in the name of being pro-life, why don’t we support the government ensuring every child has food to eat during the summer?
That’s the conundrum.

You still haven't explained why you are complaining about the State not offering food programs to these kids if you don't believe it's the government's responsibility.
I’m not complaining about anything. I guess an argument could be made that I’m complaining about people not helping their fellow humans in need.

You said it was for kids who were on reduced lunch who didn't receive SNAP. Doesn't seem that way now does it.
That’s exactly what it seems like. If kids get free or reduced lunch, they are eligible for this. If a kid goes to a school with at least 25% of the student body eligible for free or reduced lunch due to their income levels, the whole student body becomes eligible for free or reduced lunch. Therefor the whole student body would be eligible for this.
We got $40 on an EBT card last summer to make up for missed school lunches.

When the government forcibly rapes women—this will become an excellent point. But until them… nope.

Oh, you consider paying taxes to be your charity?
Is that what you plan on telling Jesus when you get to the gates and He asks you when you fed the hungry or clothed the naked? You’re going to tell Him you paid taxes?

The job of the government is to micro-manage mothers in the name of being “pro-life”
How is the government micromanaging them?

School food programs are not even a blip because it's all USDA foodstuffs. If people have a problem with school food programs, the only way to combat it is through the USDA.

The government isn’t forcing anyone to conceive a baby, it’s forcing women to deliver each baby. I thought that was clear.
The point still stands- the government is forcing women to deliver every single child conceived, but refuses to ensure these children have access to food year round.

Jesus never said to take your neighbors money by force and give that to the hungry.
Collective compassion is worthless. You get no credit.
Use your money and your time, thats what Jesus wanted..

I don’t have to imagine it. I feed my own kids
Yeah, but that’s not because you think there’s a duty as a mother to do that. You seem quite ok with other mothers choosing not to feed their kids.

the whole student body becomes eligible for free or reduced lunch.
So you want to subsidize wealthier kids lunches too.

Forcing them to deliver every single baby conceived.
My friend recently gave birth to her son whose brain developed outside of his skull in utero.

Absolutely.
These poor kids will be institutionalized.

Nothing's stopping you.
And what you're actually complaining about is that the government isn't forcibly taking assets from one person to distribute them to another.

Yep. Government taking money from one person by force and giving it to another isnt compassion.

So this program is for children in financially stable homes who happen to go to school with poor children to be given free meals all summer?
Why? Did the stress of spending a school year with poor children somehow cause the financially stable children to experience some summer hardship? Perhaps gave them an increased appetite?
