Thoughts on keeping both with only a year of separation between the two?

Hurley is all LSU so I think he stays and maybe a graduate transfer.

Maybe Kelly is telling them all to sit back and learn. Play for one season, win a Heisman and become a first round pick. #QB factory.

I don't even get excited. Nearly a year until Underwood can officially commit and transfer portal pretty much nullifies it all. Welcome to CFB free agency.

After Nuss will be fun to see what happens. Hell they may grab another one in Underwoods class who might turn out better than him. You just never know.

The stigma called LSU is big enough to glue them all in together for the haul

Underwood and Hurley are on different plants. 1 is best player in country, considered best QB of last 5 years or so. The other is a top 300 or so player, with a ceiling of a starter in his 4th or 5th year.

I see Nuss balling out this year, but coming back for senior year. Underwood getting lots of PT as a freshman, like a Ryan Periloux in ‘07 under Flynn. Underwood takes the reins in ‘26 leads us to 2 or 3 natties. Hurley, Collins hopefully develop into solid dudes who can win games for us in a pinch and if desiring to start, leave as grad transfers.

Collins and Hurley will never start for LSU if Underwood makes it to campus.

We get to decide? Those days are long gone. Better hope we get to keep 1 for 3 yrs.

Obviously Underwood will play WR so that Hurley can play QB for a few years.
